Menorca's prehistoric heritage is unique in the world. We are not just saying that for the sake of it, here are some reasons:

• The unique and exclusive constructions on the island: the burial navetas, the taula enclosures and the circular houses.

• Their excellent state of conservation.

• The monumentality and unusual density and diversity of Menorca's prehistoric sites: 1,568 have been inventoried to date.

These prehistoric constructions, more than 2,000 years old, survive in complete harmony with the Menorcan landscape. The unique and exceptional value of these monuments and landscapes have made Menorca a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
