Built by the Carmelites Order between 1750 and 1808.
Refurbished at the end of the 20th century to become a commercial premises adapted to new times.
On its upper level, there is the Conservatoire for Music and Dance, the Rubió y Tudurí library and the Municipal Schools.
It contains one of the most traditional markets in Menorca, the 'Mercat del Claustre'. It also houses cultural activities such as concerts, exhibitions and performances all year round.
