The Menorca’s rural Architecture is really unique. White peasant houses scattered about the countryside or in villages clustered around villages they become part of the island’s landscape majestically.

The farm, known colloquially as “llocs” fall through the stone walls “parets seques” in “tanks” closed plots that allow a rational rotation of crops. Also, another feature of the countryside that serves to delimit access to farms, are wooden barriers.

In the case of jump or open one of these barriers rustic must not forget to close them, since they serve to prevent livestock from spreading.
