Torralba d'en Salort

Torralba d'en Salort

A JOURNEY TO THE PREHISTORIC PAST

The prehistoric settlement of Torralba is distinguished by its well-preserved sanctuary, dominated by an impressive five-metre-high ‘taula’. This place of worship, together with two circular talayots and a semi-subterranean hypostyle hall, reflects the rich history and architectural mastery of the period. Visitors can immerse themselves in the Talayotic past, spanning from the 10th century BC to the Roman occupation, and discover artefacts such as Punic incense burners and a small bronze bull.
