Manor House Olivar

Manor house owned by the descendants of the union of the lineage started by Onofre Martí Totxó, knighted in 1594, with the prosperous merchant from Maó, Marc Olives. The building was constructed by Bernat Olives Ametller, who was ennobled in 1636. The interior layout follows the pattern of Menorca’s noble civil architecture of the time, where the main elements are the entrance hall, the central staircase, and the noble wing on the first floor that opens to the main façade.
It is one of the most beautiful houses in Ciutadella due to the unique French-influenced paintings that decorate the main rooms and its valuable furnishings.

It is open to the public during the summer, with interesting guided tours available.
