Built by the Carmelite order between 1750 and 1808.
Renovated at the end of the 20th century to become a commercial center adapted to modern times.
The upper floor houses the Menorca Professional Conservatory of Music, the Rubió Tudurí Library, and the Municipal Schools.
It is home to one of Menorca's most traditional markets, the ‘Mercat del Carme’. Inside, cultural activities such as concerts, exhibitions, and performances are also held.
