The Cova des Coloms is one of the most visited places by both local and foreign hikers, both for the beauty of the natural setting where it is located –the Binigaus ravine in Es Migjorn Gran– and for its spectacular dimensions; indeed, it is popularly known as “the Cathedral.”
It is a karstic cave, like most of Menorca's natural caves, formed by the circulation of underground water currents that eroded the limestone rock. It measures approximately 25 meters in height, 20 meters in width, and 110 meters in length.
