Church of Sant Lluís

In 1760, French authorities promoted the construction of a church dedicated to Saint Louis, designed by architect Antoine de Allemand in a neoclassical style with moderate ornamentation. Although the main structure was completed in 1783, the bell tower was not finished until 1793.

The building has a single-nave floor plan with a rectangular apse and six side chapels separated by pilasters. The vault is a simple ribbed design, and the triumphal arch directly connects the nave with the apse. The original façade, featuring three horizontal sections, was altered in 1806 to extend the nave, add chapels, and build a choir. The bell tower consists of molded sections and is crowned by a simple dome.
