The Signage of GR 223
A key aspect of any Long-Distance Trail is proper signage, which allows hikers to orient themselves easily. Along the Camí de Cavalls, you’ll find standardized markings that follow the international color code for GR routes:

• Continuation marks: two horizontal stripes, white and red, indicate that the trail continues straight ahead.
• Change of direction: a white and red angle indicates a turn in the route.
• Error sign: a white and red cross indicates an incorrect direction.
