Gates and barriers

The gates along the Camí de Cavalls are dry-stone structures that mark the passage between properties and maintain a consistent marès (sandstone) aesthetic. In areas with livestock, they are accompanied by traditional wild olive wood gates, designed to close by gravity to prevent animals from escaping. These gates also help protect the environment and regulate access, so they should always be left properly closed.
