Can Saura - Ciutadella Museum

Can Saura - Ciutadella Museum

Can Saura, built at the end of the 17th century, is an elegant example of Menorcan baroque architecture with Mallorcan noble influences. It was formerly the residence of the Saura family, ennobled in 1675.

Today it houses the Museum of Ciutadella, spread over two floors and fifteen rooms, where a wide ethnological collection and an outstanding archaeological collection are exhibited. The museum also dedicates spaces to the island’s traditional crafts and the festivities of Sant Joan.
