Yôjinbô by Akira Kurosawa

The Ciutadella Film Club presents the closing session of its classic film cycle at Teatre des Born with the screening of the 1961 masterpiece, Yôjinbô.

The plot follows the arrival of a mysterious samurai in a town divided by conflict between two rival gangs. Posing as a bodyguard, the protagonist manipulates both sides to pit them against each other, while attempting to break the cycle of violence and corruption suffocating the community.
