The Purging of the Teaching Profession in the Balearic Islands during the Civil War and Post-War Period

Through exhaustive documentary research and direct analysis of original files, the author reconstructs the administrative, political, and ideological mechanisms used to control, sanction, and remove teachers during the Civil War and post-war period.

The work is the result of the research by Pere J. Carrió Villalonga, a teacher and graduate in Educational Sciences with experience as an associate professor, school principal, and education inspector. The presentation will be given by Pere J. Alzina.
