Island, insularity and literary creation

This lecture is part of the "Literature and Insularity" cycle, promoted by the Language and Literature Section. The session will feature the intervention of academic and researcher Julio Peñate, affiliated with the University of Fribourg (Switzerland).

The meeting invites reflection on the link between literature and the island environment, addressing both geographic, historical, and social constraints as well as the symbolic and mythical dimension of insularity in the creative process.
