Rob Clearfield Trio

Pianist and composer Rob Clearfield debuts in the Es Claustre jazz cycle to present his new album, Voice in the Wilderness.

With a musical vision that reconciles the creative spirit of his native Chicago with a lyrical touch, the pianist—currently based in France—will present a diverse program of original compositions. His style draws from wide-ranging influences, from the hip-hop textures of Robert Glasper and Makaya McCraven to the romantic fantasies of Brahms and Chopin.
