Prehistoric pottery workshop
Do you want to travel back in time and discover how the first ceramic pieces were made? This practical workshop invites you to experience firsthand the modeling techniques used during prehistory in Menorca.
Based on direct observation of the objects displayed in the museum halls, ancient shapes and processes will be recreated to highlight the craftsmanship of prehistoric communities. Participants will learn to work clay by hand, without modern tools, gaining a better understanding of the materials, shapes, and functions of pottery in that era. It is a participatory and creative activity, ideal for connecting with the past through touch.
