IV Press and Journalists Conference of Menorca

The IV Press and Journalists Conference of Menorca will be held on June 12 and 13 at the Sa Il·lustrada building. This meeting is dedicated to the bicentenary of the Diari de Mahó (1776-1826), founded by Captain Joan Roca, considered one of the primary examples of manuscript journalism on the island.

The program offers an insight into paleoperiodism and personal diaries that have documented the political, social, and daily life of Menorca over the centuries. The event will feature lectures by researchers and specialists, as well as a guided tour of the Sa Il·lustrada building.
