This screening belongs to the first quarter of the 2026/2027 Film Club course. The film, originally titled "Amrum," is a work directed by Fatih Akin.

Set in the spring of 1945, the story takes place on the island of Amrum during the last days of World War II. The plot follows Nanning, a 12-year-old boy who faces the challenges of the post-war period while helping his family on Bendixen farm. The work is inspired by the childhood of the director, screenwriter, and actor Hark Bohm.
