Presentation of "Cançons populars menorquines", by Francesc Camps i Mercadal

The Institut Menorquí d'Estudis presents the second edition of "Cançons populars menorquines," by Francesc Camps i Mercadal. This work, belonging to the Capcer collection, constitutes an important recovery of Menorcan popular memory.

This reissue of the IME's 1987 edition includes a new preface by Xavier Moll. The volume recovers the scores of songs that Francesc Camps presented in 1911 at the Ateneu de Maó competition and which had never been published.
